Unlike the RetroActive kits—which were designed with bezels as an essential element—Escapees clusters are built to look complete even without them. Whether you choose to add bezels depends entirely on your styling preference. Having spent over 25 years designing gauge clusters, I’ve also created more bezels than I can count. From choosing the right materials to shaping the chamfers and base contact points, I’ve explored countless approaches. And yet, I’ve always returned to one conclusion: nothing beats clean simplicity.
