What Is the Cover Panel Add-On Option?

The optional Cover Panel is a stainless steel overlay designed to pair with your base kit’s gauge face—adding color variation or a metallic accent, depending on the finish you choose.

Because this component plays a major role in shaping the cluster’s overall mood—whether you want something sleek and aggressive or playful and cute—we encourage you to try different combinations using our simulator.

Authentic Factory Paint—Used for Real

While the base kit uses body-color-inspired paints, several of the Cover Panel finishes go one step further by using the exact same paint used on actual Jimny bodies.

These include:
• Jungle Green (Code: ZZC)
• Medium Gray (Code: ZVL)
• Silky White Ivory (Code: ZVG)

All are painted directly onto stainless steel with a similar baked-on finish. Though they do not include a top clear coat like the exterior body panels, the look and feel is very close—enough to create a harmonious effect when viewed side by side. If you want to say, “This is the exact same paint as the body,” this is the option for you.

Unique Metal Finishes, and Japan-Inspired Colors

Beyond the three standard body colors, we also offer two custom Escapees finishes:
• Crimson Red (inspired by traditional Japanese lacquer)
• JP Navy (based on an indigo dye historically used in Japan)

Both feature a subtle pearlescent sheen and deep saturation for a semi-luxurious touch. We also provide two unpainted stainless options:
• Brushed SUS304 Stainless
• Polished SUS304 Black Stainless

Each finish offers a different level of gloss and depth, allowing you to tune your interior exactly to your taste—whether you prefer understated refinement or bold expression.
